June trip to Oregon and Washington (Part 2)

Here's the rest of our trip.  Really these pics are from our last week there - it was busy and so much fun!!  Katelin and Joe's wedding/reception was a lot of fun.  It was great seeing old friends!  Katelin looked beautiful and so happy.  Joe looked pretty happy too!  :)  It was fun getting to know Joe better, since they were there the same time we were (3 weeks before the wedding), so we got to spend some quality time together.  Connor and Briella love Joe!  It is still so cute to see Briella get so excited to see Joe when we Skype.

 This was the end result of a game we played at Katelin's shower.  

Each team had 2 minutes to make a wedding dress out of toilet paper.  As you can see they did a pretty good job.  Some more modest than others.  :)  Katelin chose Mo's team dress (to Katelin's right) because they made a wedding ring to go with it.  :)

It was at a friends house.  They were suppose to have it outside on the grounds (if that tells you anything....it was big!)  But in true Oregon fashion it rained so we had to move it inside.  They have a barn that they converted into a basketball court so that was the lucky spot.  Eileen, the wedding decorator, did a fabulous job and made it look awesome!

 We went downtown one day and got some DELICIOUS ice cream from the Cool Moon Creamery.  We found out about it from an article titled '10 Best ice cream places in the US'.  We just had to try it!!  :)  We enjoyed it at the park across the street.

The trip was so fun!  I miss everyone so much.  I wish we all lived closer.  (I can't wait to move to Colorado so we'll all be a little closer!)  

June trip to Oregon and Washington (Part 1)

So I'm trying to post date this, we'll see if it works.  :) (crossing my fingers!)

June was a fun filled month!  We spent 3 weeks in Portland Oregon with a trip in the middle up to Pasco Washington for a Booth family reunion.   While we were in Oregon we went to the beach for a day, the zoo, went to the Rose Festival in downtown Portland...oh yeah and there was Katelin and Joe's wedding!  :)   In Washington we had fun with Matt's family.  We stayed at Aunt Kaysi & Uncle Jer's house with everyone!  It was fun and chaotic at times.  :)  We went fishing, picked mulberries, picked cherries, went to a couple parks, and had fun visiting.   It was a really really fun trip but we were glad to be back in our beds by the end.   You can tell from all the pics how much fun we had!  :)
